Tetar

French artist based in Paris, TETAR has developed a graphic code in its own right, between painting and writing, tag, art and automatic writing. He paints instinctively and respects the primary character of the gesture. This person concerned with a job well finished, does not wish to work on emotion, nor to carry a social message in his achievements, but despite himself, he touches the unconscious of everyone looking at them.

TETAR became interested in the visual arts very early on, and developed a fully-fledged graphic code. His work lies between painting and writing, tag and outsider art, automatic writing, abstract expressionism and primitive art.

He recreates painting rituals, unreflected and spontaneous gestures, guided by the gestures of the body. He paints instinctively and respects the primary character of the gesture. The intellectual approach to his work comes upstream to nourish his rituals with influences, images, writing systems.

For the Street Art Parc – Château de Môh, TETAR produced a large fresco on wood panels with falsely geometric graphics in B&W as a new enigmatic visual writing.
